Week 3 - Health, Wellness & Technology
It is amazing the connections being made between health and technology. I absolutely love the Wii Fitness... I'm waiting for my nieces & nephews to get it so I can try it out. The Nike Shox with the iPod is also pretty sweet but it has a costly price tag. I think these are awesome (trendy) alternatives to step up the old boring routine of a regular workout... for me, I enjoy the old routine...nothing beats the outdoors & workout buddy :) However, to each his or her own.

Week 2 - RE-introduction
Allow me to re-introduce myself...my name is Tanya, and I work in the Special Services (Books By Mail) Department. I hope to gain more insight to the growing technology and resourceful websites out on the internet.

Thank you!
I just received my MP3 yesterday and just wanted to say thank you to Tom and the crew for giving us the opportunity to broaden our horizons. :)

**Week Ten**
I'm excited to get my MP3... even though I already have one. Everyone already sees me with my MP3 every opportunity I get... especially Sundays. I use my MP3 mostly for music but I also use it for photos. I tried listening to audio books but I am a visual person... I need the physical book in front of me.
Yippieee... we are almost done!

Week Nine
Music, music... music! It's everywhere. I play viola ( no, it's not a violin!) and some guitar I picked up from my dad. I've been playing viola since 4th grade... when other kids were going to soccer and dance, I was going to lessons, concerts, plays and gigs. Oh, the good ol' days.
I don't know much about copyrights or DRM... it's really confusing. I just know that people use it to protect themselves from other people using and stealing their ideas/products.
LivePlasma is really awesome... I'm a visual person and that really made things easier to like for similar artists. CD baby has something similar on their website (minus the visual) if your searching for a certain genre, mood or occasion.
Thanks for showing us some really cool websites. I'm always looking for artists on the rise or underground bands. I already have an MP3 player... but I'm excited to get another one and put some of the music I found on LivePlasma and upto11!!!

*Week Eight*
Flickr is a very resourceful site, especially for the 'kodak moment' sorts of people (like me). I might get hooked on this sight because I really love to take pictures and capture the moment. I also think it's really cool how they meet up and have a conference.
I took these pictures when I visited Homer, Alaska. Homer is the Halibut fishing capital of the world. Although the endangered bald eagles are rarely seen here in the U.S., they are all over in Homer (more than half of the world's 70,000 bald eagles live in Alaska). If you ever get the chance to go to Alaska... do it! Alaska is a totally different country nothing like the so called "lower 48" as they say it.
